JL/JT 9550 VSS Steering Stabilizer Kit

Old Man Emu has developed a steering stabilizer / damper with increased compression and extension damping performance. This improved performance will assist in the overall ride and control of the Wrangler. To provide clearance from other factory suspension components Old Man Emu have utilized a rubber dust boot instead of the traditional steel guard. 

• 9 stage coil spring valving: for optimum performance
• 14mm piston rod: stronger than the original
• Rubber dust boot: protects the piston rod against stone damage
• 35mm piston and bore: increased oil volume
• Twin tube design: protects the internal components against stone damage
• Multi lip seal: prevents oil loss
• Original mounts: for ease of installation original stabilizer mounts are used where appropriate

The TeraFlex steering stabilizer relocation bracket moves the steering stabilizer up nearly 2.5” to help reduce damage to the stabilizer shaft or body. The 6061 Aluminum clamp and forged 10.9 stud reposition the stabilizer to reduce the ‘tie rod roll’ that causes a dead spot of un-resisted movement in the steering. Fits TeraFlex HD Tie Rod (1853910), or tie rods with 1-5/8” diameter tubing.
